6 Different taste of food and its characteristics

 In foods there are 6 different tastes and we only taste it, but we don't know what is the characteristics in different taste. Even your character will be decided by what type of taste you having more.
Six different taste in foods:
  • Sweet
  • Sour
  • Salt
  • Pungent
  • Bitter
  • Astringent
Sweet: 
 This taste helps to break down food particles in to smaller molecules and it helps in molecular digestion and it helps in growing our muscles.

Sour:
Owing to its antibacterial actions, it does not allow bacteria to enter the gastrointestinal tract. It also cleans the blood vessels.

Salt:
It helps to develop your memory power.

Punget:
 It gives heat to our body. It helps to minimize and maximize our senses.

Bitter:
 It helps to destroy unwanted microorganisms in our body and it also gives us energy.

Astringent:
 It helps to clot the blood during the time of wound and it prevents the loss of blood.
