4 Ways to Reduces Your Email Spam

Unwanted commercial email – also known as "spam" – can be annoying. Worse, it can include offers that could cost you time and money.
Take steps to limit the amount of spam you get, and treat spam offers the same way you would treat an uninvited telemarketing sales call. Look around 4 preliminary things which can reduce your email spam by 75%

Email Filter:

Check your email account settings page, if they provide any tool to filter out the potential spam and suspected to be spam in Junk folder. This option is available in all major mail service like Google, Yahoo and Msn.

Use two Email Ids:

Probability of get caught of spam in personal email ids is very less when compared to the email ids which we used for shopping, news letters, chat rooms and other services. So you might use two email ids, one for personal purposes and the other for shopping and all.

Don't disclosed your email address to public including online membership directories, blog posts and chat rooms.

Checking privacy policies and unchecked boxes:

Before submitting your email address to a website, check the privacy policy. In some of the websites privacy policy they will clearly stated that they can sell your email address in which so many of us didn't aware about it. On the hurry we won't read the privacy policy of that website, so that we receive more spam.

When you decided to submit your email address to website after reading the privacy policy of that website, take note to the pre-checked boxes which might sign you up for email updates from the company or from it's partner.

Unique Email address:

Your choice of email address must be unique not to use common name like joe@....... Rather then using common name which is alphabet, use alpha-numeric like joe1982@.... or j109e82@..... The spammers sent millions of messges to probable name combinations
